Dr. Safa Shawkat

Dr. Safa Shawkat graduated with a bachelor’s degree in dental surgery from the University of Jordan in Amman in 2007. She continued her education at Dalhousie University’s Faculty of Dentistry, earning a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (DDS) in 2012.

She is a member of several dental organizations and associations, including the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID), and the Hamilton Academy of Dentistry (HAD). Dr. Shawkat is also a fellow of ICOI (International Congress of Oral Implantologists).

Dr. Safa enjoys all aspects of dentistry and has a particular interest in dental surgery, restorative and cosmetic dentistry. She strives to make her practice comfortable and inviting for all patients.

In her free time, she enjoys to read, draw and travel.

Dr. Hind Georgie

Dr. Hind Georgie graduated with DDS in 2010 from University of Baghdad, Iraq. She then continued her education and obtained her license to practice in Canada in 2014.

Dr. Hind enjoys all aspects of dentistry, however she has a real passion for restorative and cosmetic treatments. She also strives to provide a calm and comfortable environment for all the patients.

Dr. Hind is committed to continuing education and regularly takes courses to stay up to date on the latest innovations in dentistry. She is an active member of the Ontario Dental Association, Canadian Dental Association and the RCDSO.

Outside of dentistry, Dr. Hind spends time with family and friends and enjoys to read and travel.

Dr. Mena Sedrak

Dr. Mena Sedrak, a member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, Bachelor of Dental Surgery and a member at the Ontario Dental Association, has graduated from University of Sharjah - Dubai, UAE in 2012. Dr. Mena has successfully completed his National Dental Examinations with Excellent scores and has successfully finished the overseas registration exam thus becoming a fully licensed dentist. He has special interest in Restorative Dentistry and has extensively strengthened his skills through multiple Courses in Treatment Planning, Theoretical and Practical General Dentistry in addition to root canal treatments and Cosmetic dentistry. Dr. Mena worked in various centers and clinics in Dubai and Ontario before joining Smile Design Dental Care in 2017.

Dr. Nancy Yousef

Dr. Nancy Yousef graduated from Misr International University in Cairo, Egypt. She completed her licensing in Canada in 2018 and has been excelling in her career ever since. Dr. Yousef strives for the happiness of her patients and connects with them on a deeper level than dentistry. Dr. Yousef does all restorative dentistry, with a passion for cosmetics, surgery, implants, and root canals. She strives to put her patient’s needs first while continuously educating patients on their oral health.

Outside of the office Dr. Yousef loves dogs, playing tennis, eating pizza and going on hikes. She loves to travel so make sure you tell her where you’re travelling to next!

Dr. Bashi

Dr. Bashi’s commitment to dentistry both as a discipline, and a professional career, has been developed and demonstrated through his undergraduate education as well as his clinical experience. Dr. Bashi graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from Jordan University of Science and Technology and successfully completed the Canadian Dental License Board exams shortly afterwards.

He is in good standing with the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario and a member of the Ontario Dental Association. He is committed to keeping patients happy and satisfied with their treatment.

Dr. Bashi believes strongly in continuing education and has participated in various courses covering a wide range of dental disciplines including endodontics, implantology, and crown and bridge prosthodontics. In his free time, Dr. Bashi enjoys cooking, and attending concerts and musicals.

Dr. Sarah Al-juboori

Dr. Sarah Al-juboori graduated with DDS in 2012 from Jordan University of Science and Technology. She did her one-year dental residency 2013 in Jordan then continued her education and obtained her license of Canadian dental board to practice in Canada in 2024.

Dr. Sarah enjoys all aspects of dentistry; however she has a real passion for restorative and cosmetic treatments. She also strives to provide a calm and comfortable environment for all the patients.
